I am awed by human creativity and resilience in this disaster.
Yes, there’s a breathtaking amount of idiocy with big helpings of sociopathy. But at the same time:
…people reinventing their work to keep going
…the brilliance of creating not one, but several vaccines
…people caring for each other
…businesspeople and teachers trying out ways of doing their jobs while being safe
…people making small and large sacrifices to keep us all alive and going
Not to mention the heroism of medical front line staff.
