I used to be really concerned about wasteful use of plastic bags. I always had my reusable totes when I went to the grocery store. I would carry things out in my hands, or stuff a plastic bag to capacity, whenever I could.
But we got a pandemic puppy. And the dog needs walking, and the walks need cleaning up after.
So now, yeah, I’d like the eggs in a separate bag. If my groceries look heavy, go on and double-bag them.
I don’t feel good about it, but I don’t see how it’s any worse than buying new bags which only get one use.
